VHA Award Winner: LaTrobe Mobile Wound Care "Latrobe Community Health Service won the 2011, Victorian Healthcare Association Award for its mobile wound care (MWC) service. MWC was a unique opportunity, providing the regional wound CNC remote access to provide expert advice, while allowing the health services to participate in a collaborative research project.
Wound Care Awarded (as appeared in Australian Nursing Journal Nov 12 Vol 20 No 5) "A wound care project aimed at improving nursing practice and patient outcomes has won the 2012 Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) national award. The 'Connected Wound Care Project' was developed by Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) in partnership with the Victorian Department of Health and Regional Wounds Victoria."
